This is a new addition to Dawson's Positive Discipline webpage/social media sites. The sharing of a book between an adult and a child is time well spent. The importance of uninterrupted, one on one time is immeasurable and builds bonds that can last a lifetime. We are living in unprecedented times, and we seem to be bombarded with unhappy things, we hope this feature brings a little happiness to your day! This is for children of all ages, so get in your favorite chair with your favorite child (no matter their age) and sit back and enjoy!!!
If you are interested in being a future reader, get out your favorite children's book and contact Jenny Franklin jenny.frankin@dawsonesc.com or Stephanie Eddy stephanie.eddy@dawsonesc.com
The book is Miss Nelson is Missing by Harry Allard, illustrated by James Marshall . Today's guests are Becky Jester and her granddaughter Rebecca Neel.
Brandie Bridges has been an ABC teacher for Dawson and is now an Early childhood Special Education Teacher for Dawson and says that she loves her job! She is married to her best friend and is a mother of two. She was inspired to write a children's book because making a difference in the lives of children is her passion and the best way to make a difference is showing love to others!
